Fraud Alert: EdFed will never ask for your PIN. Dear *|TITLE:FNAME|*,
Some members have reported receiving suspicious calls from individuals claiming to be from the Credit Union or our "fraud center." The fraudsters are asking the member to verify the last four digits of their debit card number, and "validate" fictitious transactions. Once the member confirms the transactions are unauthorized, they are asked to input their PIN in order to "block their card". Please be aware this is a fraud scam. The Credit Union will never ask for your PIN. If you responded to one of these calls, please contact us immediately at 305-270-5252.
Sincerely, Loss Prevention Department Educational Federal Credit Union |
