Do you know a high school senior preparing for an exciting college journey? EdFed is helping make those dreams a reality with the Hubert O. Sibley (HOS) Scholarship.
Fifteen eligible graduating high school seniors will receive help covering college tuition through the Florida Prepaid 2 + 2 Plan scholarship.1
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must fulfill the following requirements:
| • | Student or parent/legal guardian is a primary member of EdFed with an active account opened on or before April 1, 20252 | | • | The student should have opened a primary account on or before February 27, 2026, with the account being active at the time of application |

Applications are now open, and you can find out more information by visiting www.edfed.org/hos. But do not wait too long! The application deadline is Friday, February 27, 2026.
1 Eligibility: Applicant must be a resident of the State of Florida for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the application deadline. Applicant must be a high school senior graduating by the end of the current school year and planning to attend an accredited college, university, or post-secondary institution of higher learning for the coming school year. The high school must be in Florida and accredited with the State of Florida/SACS. Applicant must be a US citizen, a resident alien, or the child of a resident alien per Florida Prepaid College Foundation Scholarship requirements.
2 Applicant or their parent/legal guardian must have been a primary member of EdFed with an active (non-dormant) account opened on or before April 1 of the prior year. The applicant must open their own EdFed account (as a primary member), and the account must be active by the application deadline. |
