Each year, EdFed awards 15 Florida Prepaid 2 + 2 Plan scholarships to eligible members who are graduating high school seniors.1
This opportunity is open to high school seniors who:
| • | Have been EdFed members for at least 12 months2, or | | • | Whose parent or legal guardian has been an active EdFed member for at least 12 months2 |

Applications are now open. The deadline to apply is Friday, February 27, 2026.
1 Eligibility: Applicant must be a resident of the State of Florida for at least 12 consecutive months prior to the application deadline. Applicant must be a high school senior graduating by the end of the current school year and planning to attend an accredited college, university, or post-secondary institution of higher learning for the coming school year. The high school must be in Florida and accredited with the State of Florida/SACS. Applicant must be a US citizen, a resident alien, or the child of a resident alien per Florida Prepaid College Foundation Scholarship requirements.
2 Applicant or their parent/legal guardian must have been a primary member of EdFed with an active (non-dormant) account opened on or before March 1 of the prior year. The applicant must open their own EdFed account (as a primary member), and the account must be active by the application deadline. |
